WARDOGS Bakurani Map: Names, Control Zone, and Objectives (EA)
TL;DR: Editorial guide to the Bakurani map name, Control Zone win condition, play-area rotations, and POI types (towers / settlements / industry) for WARDOGS Steam Early Access. Playable now lead from MetaForge hub capture (2026-09-13). How you win (Steam store About, 2026-09-13): ~100 players / 3 teams, Control Zone ~2×2 km, first to ~100 points — keep on tick UI labels. Tower counts conflict across dated allthings tables (overall 7+4 abandoned vs play-area 5/5/3) — we keep both as dated leads, never as eternal facts. This page is not an interactive map tool. For clickable/filterable pins, use MetaForge WARDOGS maps — we are editorial names/objectives only. Towers + Hot Zone drill flow → ./wardogs-towers-hot-zone/. Sibling maps hub → ./wardogs-maps/. Ozeti → ./wardogs-map-ozeti/.

| We are | MetaForge is |
|---|---|
| Editorial map names, objectives, play-area leads, callouts | Interactive map / filterable pins / database-style tools |
Written for Google SEO intents like bakurani map, wardogs bakurani |
Built for clicking towers/settlements on a live layer |
Clear line for MetaForge seekers: If you wanted a clickable Bakurani / WARDOGS map tool, go to MetaForge — https://metaforge.app/wardogs/map (hub) and their per-map interactive pages. We will not fake an interactive clone here. Older MetaForge naming (e.g. “Kavkazi”) may appear in tool URLs/titles — confirm the in-match load-screen name before treating any third-party label as eternal.

Bakurani status: Playable now

Identity checklist (players / editors)
- Photograph the match load-screen map title.
- Note which play area is live (Default / Farmland / Lumberyard — allthings).
- Count captureable towers inside the active play area — date the count.
- Mark whether abandoned towers are visible but non-scoring (allthings overall table).
- File screenshots before writing “Bakurani always has N towers.”
How you win on Bakurani (Control Zone)
The Control Zone is the match’s scoring theater, not merely “the middle of the valley.”
| Rule | Store / press lead | Indie / tool lead | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Control Zone size | ~2×2 km (Steam store About, 2026-09-13) | Play area ~500–550 m radius; scoring core ~85 m (allthings maps framing) | Size conflict — store 2×2 km vs indie core; keep both dated |
| Point ticks | — | ~30 seconds; most bodies in zone (games.gg / allthings public leads) | public lead |
| Hot Zone | Store: double cash (Steam store About, 2026-09-13) | Double presence + extra cash (MetaForge + allthings + games.gg leads) | Cash = store fact; presence = public lead |
| Persistence | Cash persists match to match (store) | Economy page | HUD |

Play areas (allthings Sep 13, 2026)
| Play area | Position lead | Pick weight (dated) | Drill towers (dated) | Character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Default | SW of centre | 2× (most common) | 5 | Busiest — apartments / factory approaches |
| Farmland | N of centre | 1× | 5 | Open fields / church approaches |
| Lumberyard | SE of centre | 1× | 3 | Fewer code sources — contest each tower harder |
Approach tip (allthings): no respawn countdown — die → HQ; travel time is the tax. Valley road is fast and ambushed; budget transport (see Economy). Prefer play-area-dated tower counts + your screenshot over any undated “complete list.”
Tower-count conflict table (keep both leads)
Do not collapse these into one “official” number.
| Claim | Source A / B | Conflict |
|---|---|---|
| Bakurani 7 towers (+4 abandoned) that do not count | Source A: allthings towers table (Sep 12, 2026) | vs play-area table below |
| Generic “3–5 towers” on a battlefield | games.gg beginner / tpose leads | Matches play-area variance better than a flat 7 |
| Dated row | Count lead | Source | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Default play area | 5 drill towers | allthings Bakurani 2026-09-13 | public lead |
| Farmland | 5 | same | public lead |
| Lumberyard | 3 | same | public lead |
Rule: Abandoned Bakurani towers are not treated as code sources in the allthings overall table — do not stage a digit hunt on abandoned props. Full keypad / drill / Hot Zone move flow → Towers + Hot Zone.

Hot Zone vs Control Zone vs towers (one screen)
| Term | Meaning (public / store) | Player takeaway |
|---|---|---|
| Control Zone | Match scoring theater (~2×2 km store; indie core smaller) | Score to ~100 pts |
| Play area | Which Bakurani slice hosts the zone this match | Changes which towers are live |
| Tower | Digit / hardpoint inside active zone | Code toward drill |
| Hot Zone | Store: double cash; tools: presence + cash leads | Economy magnet — Towers page |
Control Zone (score toward 100)
└─ POIs: towers | settlements | industry | FOBs
└─ Tower keypad/drill → may pull Hot Zone (double cash — store)
First 10 minutes on Bakurani
- Read load-screen name — confirm Bakurani (not Ozeti / Zestafona).
- Note play area if shown (UI).
- Open in-match map; find Control Zone outline.
- Ping one tower and one soft POI (settlement/industry).
- Decide: score hold vs Hot Zone cash plan.
- Budget a vehicle if HQ is far (Economy).
- Die once on purpose if learning travel tax — better now than mid-objective.
- Screenshot tower count before arguing Discord numbers.
First-match loop → How to Play WARDOGS.
Terrain sketch (editorial — not pins)
Use for callouts only. Do not treat as GPS.
| Zone flavor | What to expect | Objective note |
|---|---|---|
| Apartments / residential | Tight CQB, verticality | Staging toward Default towers |
| Factory + containers | Hard cover, vehicle scrap | Industry POI contests |
| Hill town + bridge | Chokepoint / elevation | Ambush on rotations |
| Sunflower fields / church | Longer sightlines | Farmland play-area flavor |
| Lumber hills | Wooded approaches | Lumberyard three-tower scarcity |
| Market swamp | Soft ground / flanks | Don’t over-commit alone |
| North river | Travel corridor | Budget transport |
| Scrub flanks | Bypass routes | Cut valley road tax |
Travel tax reminder (allthings): dying sends you to HQ with no countdown — distance is the penalty. Valley road is fast and contested.
Editor hygiene (keep conflicts visible)
- Prefer dated play-area tables over undated “complete tower lists.”
- Keep MetaForge as a tool link, never a pasted pin dump.
- When Source A (7+4) and Source B (5/5/3) disagree, show both rows.
- Photograph load-screen names if MetaForge still shows legacy labels (e.g. Kavkazi-class URLs).
- Hide unverified cells in public HTML later (站务) — writers keep them in shells.

FAQ
Q: Is Bakurani playable in WARDOGS Early Access?
A: MetaForge hub capture (2026-09-13) lists Bakurani Playable now. Confirm on your load screen.
Q: How big is the Control Zone and how do you win?
A: Steam store About (2026-09-13): Control Zone ~2×2 km, first to ~100 points, ~100 players / 3 teams. Indie guides cite a smaller scoring core — keep the size conflict visible until HUD screenshots resolve it.
Q: How many towers does Bakurani have?
A: Conflict. Source A (allthings towers Sep 12): 7 (+4 abandoned). Source B (allthings Bakurani Sep 13): 5 / 5 / 3 by play area. Prefer dated play-area counts + your screenshot. Abandoned do not count as code sources per overall table.
Q: Is this an interactive Bakurani map?
A: No. This is editorial. Interactive pins → MetaForge.
Q: What’s the difference between Control Zone and Hot Zone?
A: Control Zone = scoring theater toward 100 points. Hot Zone = store double-cash (and tool leads for presence) usually tied to tower drill flow — see Towers.
Q: Bakurani vs Ozeti — which should I learn first?
A: Whichever your server loads. Ozeti has its own play-area table (4/3/2 leads) on Ozeti map and the Maps hub.
Q: Do abandoned towers still give digits?
A: allthings overall table: abandoned do not count. on your build before wasting a push.
Q: Where do I learn the drill / keypad / Hot Zone move?
A: WARDOGS Towers and Hot Zone.
Q: First match tips beyond the map?
A: How to Play + Economy starter loadout.
Q: Why does MetaForge sometimes say Kavkazi?
A: Tool naming can lag or use internal/legacy labels. Trust your in-match load screen for the live map name; keep MetaForge for pins, not as the sole naming authority.
Q: Does Bakurani use the same Hot Zone rules as Ozeti?
A: Store Hot Zone cash framing is game-wide. Play-area tower density differs — learn digits on Towers and map-specific counts here vs Ozeti.
